A North Carolina judge considered sentencing Andrew Young and his wife Cheri to jail on Tuesday, but John Edwards ‘ former aide avoided the slammer. Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones expressed interest in jailing the Youngs for up to 75 days by holding them in contempt of court, says the Associated Press .
